A git-based CI/CD and safe-deploy pipeline for a multi-store Shopify operation
Three high-traffic storefronts had no delivery pipeline. We put theme code in git with linting, per-shop preview themes, and a client-validation staging step, then made every production release a human-gated deploy with a rollback tag — backed by drift detection that refuses to ship over unreconciled live changes. Extended into consent/analytics compliance and DNS to launch a new storefront cleanly.

Replaced ad-hoc change control with a governed, code-defined system: a CAB workflow with Standard, Normal, and Emergency classes, form-driven intake that auto-instantiates approved change templates, a standard-change catalog backed by repo templates, and two-layer enforcement requiring a change-ticket key on every commit and pull request across the deployment repositories.
